This gem was hidden away in our cellar for 13 years and is still tasting amazing! Expect aged Riesling characters, honey mead and an irresistible intensity.
4 stars [87/100]. Initial sweetness is quickly overcome by tangy acidity to give a fairly drying finish, although the back label description of "medium/dry" is probably technically correct. I like this wine for its purity and acid/sweetness tension. Good as an aperitif but also with quite a wide range of foods.

4.5 stars. The 2012 vintage is attractively scented and full-bodied, with tight-knit, vibrant lemon, lime and spice flavours, in a punchy, poised, medium-drystyle showing good acid spine and excellent intensity. One for the cellar.
